Before your appointment

You’ll receive a confirmation email with what you’ll need to prepare, important information like the appointment date and time, and a link to join the video call. The email may also have prompts to upload your document, a valid government-issued photo ID, and payment instructions that you’ll need to handle before the appointment. It’s important to note that you should not sign the document in advance unless instructed specifically to do so.

During your appointment

You’ll meet with a NotaryPro professional by live video using the equipment needed, who’ll then confirm your identity and guide you through the signing process. You won’t need to create an account or install any software to join the appointment. For standard eligible documents, you’ll sign electronically using NotaryPro’s digital signing process. You can use a mouse or trackpad on a computer or laptop or a touchscreen on a phone or tablet for this. After the required process is complete, you’ll receive your completed document digitally.
